Over the counter
At the Tri-ang Trade Fair (see last month's "Over the Counter") several notable additions to the Frog range of kits were on show. Firstly the new polystyrene plastic scale kits: five are currently in production - the Hunter and Sabre at 5s.3d., the Sikorsky S.55 at 5s. 9d., the Javelin at 7s. 6d., and the Canberra at 8s. 6d. These will be followed by the D.H.110, Meteor 8, Venom and Sea Hawk. The kits are complete and ready to assemble. They include polystyrene cement, transferes, and a stand for mounting the finished model.

Add Glamour with Colour
Two kits of the F-86E version of this famous fighter are available — by Lindberg to 1/48th scale and by Frog to 1/72nd scale... Both kits are over ten years of age and may be a little difficult to find, but the search is well worthwhile as, in spite of their age, which shows in such features as the absence of pressed-out wheel wells on the Lindberg model and the rather coarse detailing of the Frog offering, both are quite accurate, the only major fault in either being the Lindberg model's tailplane which is too small.
