TRADE NOTES

We note that others to follow in this 1/96th scale range are the long awaited “V” bombers, Valiant, Vulcan and Victor, plus the Comet 4. Though out of scale with the rest of the 1/72nd range, having a common span of about 7 in. the B-47, B-45, B-52 and Lockheed P2V-7 are welcome new additions to the FROG range and with the Boeing 707 shortly to come (1/144th scale, 12 in. span) the series will include a total of 32 different types—all original British mouldings.

In February 1969 ... new kit releases had a new style of box with new artwork for some kits. Decals were standard Frog. The Canberra and V-bombers used a common box titled "Bomber Series" which had illustrations of all four aircraft, the contents being indicated by a sticker on the box end. Most Victors had left-over Rovex instruction sheets and decals. The earlier kits in production retained their old boxes.
